As many of you know, a devastating 7.0 earthquake hit the impoverished country of Haiti Tuesday near the capital city of Port-au-Prince. Casualties are estimated to exceed 100,000, and the need for medical supplies, food, and water are without measure.

After witnessing the mass devastation in Haiti this week and hearing of the incredible needs of the relief organizations already pressed for money and supplies, we knew we had to bring together artists, local businesses, and concerned Austinites to raise money for relief. We are doing this because it is the right thing to do. Be there!

"Real Hope For Haiti" is a nonprofit organization that provides medical relief and care for severely malnourished children in Haiti. The rescue center of RHFH is home to over seventy malnourished children, and their clinic has been running nonstop since the earthquake.

Located only 20 miles from Port-Au-Prince, the nation's capital, the village and mission has been devastated by the recent tragic earthquake.

Immediate relief efforts are crucial. Casualties are numerous, and the need for medical supplies, food, and water are without measure. There is a Haitian proverb that reads, "With many hands, the load is not heavy." This is the heart of Real Hope For Haiti, as they continue to meet the needs of Haitians in the middle of this great catastrophe.
