I like Change

I get bored with my hair, my look, etc. and so this week I cut and colored it. And, I got a wild hair and also got my nose pierced. I know everyone might not love that, but as a mom of four, I needed to feel youthful and fresh and so far, it feel pretty fun!

Another thing we did this week was start buying boxes of food from a local grower. This way, we would be supporting local farming and saving the gas it takes to get produce to Texas from all over the country. In Washington state, where Brent's family lives, they had the best box of produce, bread and flowers, and we haven't found anything like that here. But, we settled on the produce only, and we actually got a pretty good spread! Here's the pic Brent took from our first week's box!
