Haiti and Life's Rapid Changes

Well, we are finally heading to Haiti this weekend! It's been such a delayed trip, but Brent, Daisy & I are going and the three other kiddos are staying here with my cousin, and then staying with family.

So much is going on! We put our house on the market and 9 days later it was under contract! It's great, but we have to hurry up and get things sorted out for our trip. We plan on putting an offer on a house in Travis Country tomorrow. A bit of a move further south, but a neat neighborhood.

The kids are doing great. They are swimming for my sister-in-law's swim team (she rocks - head coach of 250 kids and knows all of their names and how good they are!). This is 5 days a week, so crazy, but a lot of fun!

We're so happy that school is out, and it's so weird that Daisy is done with elementary school! That happened quick!

Cecil turns 8 tomorrow, so it will be neat to finally celebrate a birthday with him! He already had his birthday party - laser tag with 5 of his buddies - fun, fun! The kids have almost been here a year, and our family feels so cohesive now. We are SO blessed!
