Adoption Day

November 19th was the big day and we had such a blast! The kids got all dolled up for the event...(are they gorgeous or what?!)

It was National Adoption week and this was Austin's celebration of it, so it was one big party:

This doesn't look like court! It made it so relaxed for the kids:

The judge gave the kids a keepsake - a necklace for Cecianna and an ID bracelet for Cecil - engraved with their new official names. What a neat memory!

This adoption took so much support - from family to lawyers, CPS, CASA workers and more! Here are some of the team that was present for our bid day...

The after-party was that evening at my mom & dad's house. Suz made an amazing cake but these pics are not going to do it justice. First, she had an edible version of each of us. So cute!

Then, she incorporated the family by including one of our favorite songs to sing "You are my Sjolseths, my only Sjolseths...". Finally, she included another inside secret "AC/DC" stands for Anna, Clara, Daisy & Cecil in our family:
