We celebrated Brent's birthday in early November. We tried hard but he is really hard to surprise! We parked down the street when we were supposed to be at church and had all of the lights out, but he just knew it somehow! He was surprised by the homemade brownies that Daisy worked so hard to make him though! (my favorite post-baking quote "Mom, shortening is the same thing as margarine, right?")
Daisy's soccer is now over too, sadly ending with a cancelled, rained-out tournament after a great season. Our schedule is slowly, but surely, freeing up!

Cecil finished out his football season with his first trophy...the girls are standing by "supporting" their brother by working on art projects and playing with Sherlock on the sidelines.
