Kids, Kids

The months have flown by and I have been very remiss about keeping up the blog. We have finally wrapped up soccer and are winding down to the end of the kids' school year. However, a couple of weeks ago, we started swim team which is 4 days/week of practice for two hours (between them) and one day of meets -- and it's 30 minutes away! It's a little crazy, but the kids love it. They especially love that their Aunt Sarah is the head coach of these 200+ kids! That's the reason we're making the trek. Sarah will be watching the kids again this summer on the days that Brent goes/to and from work, which will be great.

We also have completed pretty much everything we need to get started on our adoptions, or be ready to have foster children when we return from Haiti. We had 2 home visits (one which was a home study), we completed tons of homework, immunizations, home (health/fire) inspections, and with the exception of Jessica having to make up one of the class sessions over the next couple of weeks, the screening is over and we will be on to the exciting part! We're not exactly sure how this will all work, but please pray for our kids out there that we haven't met yet. Pray for them wherever they are, and pray for it to be crystal clear to us that they are meant to join our family. We know God has a plan and we trust Him!
